Congratulations Dan!

Enormous congratulations to Dan Gourlay who has secured his first professional long term contract on a cruise ship this week. Dan has been a student for about 18 months and has worked tirelessly for years on his dance / acrobatic skills at Conroy Dance school. He has been a diligent singer who has auditioned for many shows over the last year and is testament to the phrase "never give up". For professional performers, auditions are a neccessary evil. You often go through a period of many "no thank you"s, then all it takes is one "yes" and you are on your way! Dan has bounced back and kept a great attitude after auditioning for many of the shows now running in Australia, often getting to the top 20 or 30. He is a terrific guy – and although I will miss his cheeky face and constant movement in the studio each Friday, I know he is on his way! Well done, Dan.
